Your Holiday in Paradise
Approximately 180 kilometres south of Sydney you’ll find a slice of paradise known as Jervis Bay. Ringed by national parks and measuring around 15 kilometres from north to south and 10 kilometres across, the turquoise water of this magnificent bay is home to bottle nosed dolphin, sea dragons, little penguins and fur seals. During migration it’s a favourite spot for whales to drop in for a little R&R. Reputed to have the whitest sand in Australia, a series of coves provide magnificent sheltered beaches perfect for swimming, diving, sailing and fishing. If it’s solitude you crave, locals will tell you that at certain times of the year, 10 people on a beach is a crowd. For those who like a bit more action, Huskisson offers excellent cafes, restaurants, diving expeditions and Dolphin and Whale watching cruises. There’s also a great pub, two clubs and an amazing marine museum built around the former Sydney ferry The Lady Denman.
